Edited 12 days agoI'm not sure why the sticker says FULLY ANALOG, and the barcode corresponds, but the number along the spine which ends in 159, (no letters) means it's a digital version. And when you open up the gatefold, it has the information that is on the digital copies, specificially, "Vinyl cut by Heino Leja at Optimal Studio." If its the Fully Analog cut, it should have a number after the 159 on the spine, and mention Andy Savours. So most likely it's a digital copy, they put the wrong cellophane on. I haven't played it as I'm asking them at the MBV website, what it is. I wanted the Fully Analog cut. Eventually I look at the marking of the disc and see if it corresponds to what is above and what else I can figure out. But something is labeled wrong. The label on the cellophane and the info on the record sleeve are contradictory. Maybe they just ran out of something as someone suggested. But I guess you have to check the etchings.

Edited one year agoGood analog pressing. Not as hard hitting or sharp on the stereo imaging as the Townhouse DMM, but flows better as a whole, no stop start between tracks and has just a bit more depth to it; to be expected from alalog.
Still, it's tonally forward, even a bit fatiguing . I was surprised by this, as expected it from the DMM but not this copy.
Well worth buying, I can't see anyone being disappointed unless your a digital purist. -
I have this and the Plain reissue everyone complained about. The Plain sounds better to me, this sounds flat, the other is all in the red on the eq and it sounds huge. I’m selling this

need help finding my variant! when i scan the barcode that came on the shrinkwrap, this edition appears, but when i search the runouts, the 2021 pressing appears. did they just put 2021 pressings in 2022 covers or is it a new variant that isnt in the database yet?

I've got 2 of the first art prints (Basically the cover picture) and 0 of the 5th art print. Anyone got dupliace of that?
-
fucking. perfect. beautiful art, great packaging, amazing sound, completely silent vinyl, can't recommend this pressing enough.
-
All I can say this pressing is bloody brilliant. There is much more audible level of details and great balance.

Wow, just beautiful and mesmerizing. It’s like listening to this album for the first time again. I wish more bands would take the time to put out records like this. If you’re a fan I’d recommend buying this immediately.

Easily one of the best sounding records in my collection. One of the few albums that I actually need to turn my speakers down.
