My copy matches this one, except inside the gatefold on the top right, it says “mastered from analog 1/2” tapes using student a80 vu-pre and neumann vms 80” above the “produced by….” credits.
I do not see that on the photos above.
Do I need to make a separate listing for mine?

Intoxicating release. Mine is deluxe version pressed in . Thick gatefold came dented but it doesn’t matter since the spin is clean af; almost violently hallucinatory, not for the faint of heart. This pressing does justice to one of the greatest albums ever recorded. Now just need to get my paws on the digital version

A nice sounding record and beautiful packing. This is a nice copy to get if you just want a copy on vinyl and don’t care about having a vintage version.

The packaging is incredible, one of the best in my collection. I have a significant amount of IGD at the end of side 1 however, and I'm surprised to see nobody else mention it. They've obviously packed more music than normal onto each side so it stands to reason but have I just been unlucky?

Edited one year agoWith a sealed cooy in hand you can actually see the prints in the foldout through the shrink wrap.

Hang on a minute. Some serious ambiguity and even confusion here which needs to be explained: I bought BOTH this heavy tip on sleeve deluxe version AND the standard gatefold version when both were released in May 2021 on Domino Records, and yet my deluxe tip-on sleeve (heavier) version does NOT come with the six art prints.
I only thought that these six art prints came with the subsequent 2022 reissue of the deluxe tip-on sleeve version (which I then thought was a swizz, meaning fans who wanted these prints would have to fork out a THIRD time to buy this LP)...and yet here it says the 2021 issue also had these art prints.
Was this initial quantities of the 2021 release only or is there some error in the listing specifics here? Can somebody please fill us in on this conundrum? -
I had the digital vinyl version for about a year before buying this. I thought it might be a mistake and they might sound exactly the same. But I am surprised how different this analog version sounds. Less out of control. Narrower soundstage if that makes any sense. Hard to describe. But you can hear the bass guitar clearly.

What do we think about this pressing vs the 2012 Japanese 2LP bootleg? I’m pretty happy with mine but have heard great things about these new reissues. The second LP with the EP tracks makes me hesitant to get another copy if the sound difference is minimal
