This was on my wishlist for RSD and it took a bit of hunting to track down at the shops around me, but now it's mine and I am pleased. For all my excitement though, I failed to realize that this is a compilation of modern artists. That's cool/fine. A lot of them sound straight out of the past, so I can definitely appreciate that. The records themselves are a beautiful red, sorta translucent. I really REALLY appreciate that the sleeves weren't standard paper ones but nice MoFi inner sleeves. It's those little touches that make the consumer feel like they are getting a good value and that the presentation lives up to the price tag. Plus, music like this should be cherished for many years and beyond. So, good move there Colemine Records!

Having previously bought all of the 45s, I can confirm this is a cracking compy (aka 'compilation'). A particular favourite in our household is "My God Has A Telephone" by The Flying Stars of Brooklyn, NY. My mam has me put it on all the time (she is a very religious woman and proud of her faith in Christ). Many's the evening she can be found dancing around the living room to its sweet vocal refrain, while thumping on the cover of her Good News Bible like a rudimentary drum. Thanks Colemine Records, you have made my mam very happy!!
