Wow. I’ve never heard Hendrix this clear. Like others have said it’s like hearing the album for the first time.

Edited 4 months agoLucked out finding this version in my local record shop. Really quiet pressing, and mastering feels like I’m hearing all these tracks for the first time. So many little details, backing vocals etc coming through more clearly than I’m used to anyways. Pleasant surprise to see the anti-static / archival sleeve too!
Listening on Fluance RT-85 (Ortofon Blue), Rega Brio integrated amp, Sennheiser HD-650 / B&W DM-303 -
Pressed at QRP, all analogue master, George Marino - things on the hype sticker that made me pick this one up. Jeez this sounds good! The detail soundstage warmth base - can’t believe how lowkey this pressing is. Brilliant -
A lot of hiss- probably noise from the master tapes? Not sure. Still sounds great at high volume. A lot more detail with sounds that I’ve never heard before on familiar songs. -
Edited one year agoI wish all great sounding records were this accessible and affordable.
Super dynamic and amazing soundstage. I am a huge Hendrix fan, but even if you aren’t, I’d get this to experience the great sound quality of this issue.

Can’t believe what I’m hearing. Mind blown. I have never heard the band this explosive, especially Mitch’s drums. Shakes my floor. And it’s cheap and all analog. 10/10 pressing. Buy without hesitation. -
Can agree with everyone. Really good value in this one, it sounds great with nice bass and a very crisp sound. Love it! -
Slept on this one for many years, found this very pressing for $15 new so had to go for it.

Incredible pressing. Huge sound, punchy and dynamic. My speakers melt away. “Are You Experienced” is such a trip
