This entry is inaccurate. HH1011V is for Coheed and Cambria's "The Afterman Descension" album, released on marble turquoise vinyl. Easy mistake to make, but there is no green marble variant of The Afterman Ascension. -
This album is incredibly gorgeous! The artwork is all beautiful, to include the inner sleeve. The LP disc itself feels really light. My record player has an automatic stop that seems to stop on side 1 prematurely into the final song (Gravity's Union) and that's disappointing. I assume it's due to the grooves going so close to the center of the LP. As I haven't had any issues with the function on any of my other records in my collection.
As far as the music goes, how can you go wrong here? I love every song on this album with maybe the weakest among them being Dark Side of Me. Side 1 is probably my favorite side of any LP of Coheed's. This album is certainly amazing. And this LP makes a fantastic display piece. I don't know if I can recommend it for listening as much as a standard 180 gram vinyl, though. I'm not disappointed, though.
