Notes
Limited 180g "Barn Board" colored-vinyl pressing. In December 2020, Page McConnell & Trey Anastasio recorded and surprise released a stripped down EP, aptly titled December. The 45-minute six-song collection was recorded live at The Barn in VT and features acoustic versions of “If I Could”, "Mountains in the Mist”, “Joy”, and a stripped down electric take on “Miss You”. The EP concludes with a 15-minute rendition of “The Squirming Coil.”

I get the sense a lot of you need to clean your records or check your anti-skate setup and tracking force on your TT. Or maybe you have a suitcase player? My copy plays like dream. Intimate and quiet. I love this record.

Mine sounds great, no pops or issues. Love to spin this--- wishing others could have same experience.

Tried one more time and have decided the pops and cracks are just too distracting.Going in the unlistenable pile. What a dumb hobby this is.

I had to return two pressings as the vinyl had lots of picks and on both records the B-side was unplayable. The needle skipped alway at the same point. This really is a shame. I am not going to try a third one. I'm done with this record.

Cleaned mine too since there were complaints, my copy plays quiet, very slight warp, doesn’t affect play. Great session!

Very slight crackles here and there, but never even near the point of distracting. Coupled with the intimate performance, the slight crackle now and then is almost charming. Mix sounds great. Such a wonderful performance. Trey and Page are two masters who listen to each other so well. The nuance of the interplay between the two of them on stage can sometimes get lost in the greater mix of a Phish jam, but is on clear display here. Perfect album for a quiet Sunday morning.

Edited 2 years agoMy side B is unplayable. Multiple skips. Absolute shame as it is a beautiful and intimate performance. Like the two of them are hanging right there with you in your living room sharing something special.
