My box has two of disc 1 of Glass Spiders, and none of disc 3. If anyone has the opposite problem or an orphaned disc 3, HMU!

This box is great, possibly my favourite up to the Brilliant Adventure 90s box. I know it isn't his best work but the 80s are when I got into Bowie so the nostalgia quotient is high.

Personally I think the new version of Never Let Me Down is awful and makes me really appreciate the original version which, in my opinion, is a great album.

Ended up with the Chinese version by accident. You don't get the inserts and the CDs are silver not gold but the sound seems identical.

This box, just like all the other Bowie-boxes which pop out since his ing, are - or seem to be - complete compilations of his periods of work. Therefore it is a very irritating fact that songs are simply omitted. This makes the boxes simply incomplete. I mean.... where is "Too Dizzy"??

Please be aware of too-cheap sales of this release (LP/CD versions). A very poor Chinese counterfeit is suggested as an official product.

If you were a dj back in the day and played Bowie remixes/extended versions, then the real gem included in this box set is obviously the 'Dance' cd.
Albeit, this compilation was scrapped for release when it was most needed (in the 80's), it is still a treat to hear these well-done remixed versions which remained true to their original form, unlike the pathetic remixes of today.
Then again, the brilliant 2018 mastering of these remixes blow away the vinyl versions...and this statement will quite possibly get me banned from the vinyl club, but that's a fact because i have long endured listening and playing most of the mixes from Bowie during my dj-ing days.
On the sad note, this cd fails to contain the dance remix of Lets Dance and the amazingly wicked mix of the track Bowie did with Iggy Pop, which he had also remixed himself. (btw, said track has never been released in a cd format!)

Luckily I found a trader selling the albums of this box seperately. So I could buy the 2018 vinyl version of "Never let me down". Although Bowie is one of my favorite artists, his 80s work doesn't really go to my heart. So I was curious about this re-recording, whether it would open up that album for me. But I have to say, that different arrangements can not turn weak songs into masterpieces. It's interesting, but the songs "remain the same".
