None of the sounds are generated electronically... they are all the product of electronically altering the sounds of normal instruments.
The orchestral segments were conducted by Sid Sharpe under the supervision of the composer".
"This whole monstrosity was conceived and executed by Frank Zappa as a result of some unpleasant *premonitions August through September 1967".
*All premonitions continuing to come true".
"Is this phase one of Lumpy Gravy?"
Comes with colour card insert with various 'Sgt. Pepper' parody images for cut-out.
On back sleeve: RYKO Analogue.
On left inner pannel: FZ approved digital master, made from original master andother raw mix segments (for better sonics), 1993.
Runouts are etched, except for "SAE MASTERING", which is stamped.

This is probably the best version you can get of this album, original artwork and original mix bit with a dead silent vinyl with great bass and big 3D soundstage. You have the experience of the first issue but without buying a trashed old copy. -
Is this the version remixed in 1985 with bassist Arthur Barrow and drummer Chad Wackerman?
