Roy Estrada

American electric bassist, born 17th April 1943, Santa Ana, California, USA. He started his career in the Los Angeles circuit in the 1960s, member of 'Roy Estrada & The Rocketeers' and 'The Viscounts' which later changed name to 'The Soul Giants'. A member of 'The Mothers Of Invention' from inception until he left in 1969 to form Lowell George.

In the early 1970s, he ed Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band, toured with Napoleon M. Brock.

In 2012, Estrada was sentenced to 25 years in a plea bargain agreement for Child Molestation and is not eligible for parole. He will be 93 years old before he is released from prison.
