What a find! This pressing has soaring energy, beautiful fidelity, and provides incredible airiness allowing the music to shine. All instruments and vocals have a unique space across the soundstage. A luscious warm and electric ride from start to finish. A real standout and keeper.

My mother just gifted this to me and I'm so pumped. The record sounds absolutely phenomenal. Will be one of my most frequently played LPs.

This pressing is slightly bright/hot but… sweet mother of god does it sound incredible! Instrument separation and clarity is among the best I’ve heard on any pressing I own. The music attacks hard and ridiculously fast. This is what a rock album should sound like. The only thing I have that comes close to this level of punch and clarity is my 1st US pressing of The Wall (TML cut). This really is that good.

I have had this LP in 8-track, CBS Half Speed Mastered LP, CD remastered by Tom Scholz and SACD and THIS pressing, a 1-B "Wally" pressing , which, BTW, came with a red PROMO stamp in the back and a HUGE Poster featuring the cover art, which I have been told was a Radio Promo giveaway pressing, and THIS is the BEST EVER I have heard this LP, early pressings are the way to go, boys and girls...will NEVER part with this!!!

This is a smokin hot stamper! It’s a fact that Santa Maria and monarch had the best quality control.

Just listened again tonight. My copy is from my deceased uncle Gary and he took care of his vinyl. So happy to be able to own this great album, besides the sentimental aspect, because it still kicks so much ass!

Edited 11 months agoI have an original 1976 UK pressing. It is a thing of beauty. Something to be nurtured, cherished and never to be parted from. I was there when they played The Rainbow in Finsbury Park, London in 1979. Waayyy over the top but so damn good! Rest peacefully Brad Delp in the knowledge that you have gained immortality by helping give mankind this rock masterpiece.
