Excellent pressing, sounds very open. Compared to the same album on CD out of the "Shine On" Box it is slightly less dynamic, but this LP remastering sounds very open. And hey for more dynamic one can still increase the volume on their amplifier :-) This one as the other 2016 remastered albums from Pink Floyd's back catalog are a great rework of remastering and respect of the original recordings and sounds of each instrument or sound effect played! 2 thumbs up! -
Flat pressing, great sound where sound ages are loud, otherwise it has a lot of surface noise.

As with the other Pink Floyd Grundman remasters, this is an excellent pressing. Flat, noise-free, and an excellent mix. -

Edited 3 years agoI have the original cassette. This pressing is as good if not better. They have done a wonderful job recreating the original analogues. Hopefully a quad release from the early albums will come forth. And where is the Animals box? I heard that Gilmour is not happy with the sleeve notes.

Pretty good pressing, i compared it to my FLAC version and i think this vinyl sound even better. 10/10 -
Je n'ai malheureusement pas le premier pressage sous la main pour comparer mais je peux garantir que ce remastering est de haute qualité. Bonne répartition du son dans l'espace, un réel plaisir. Le travail sur les voix est assez impressionnant. Pas de inner sleeve pour info mais qu'importe. Belle galette -

Seems a shame that someone got a bad copy. Send it back! The copy I have is excellent. Well pressed and with excellent sound quality, zero background noise and flat as a pancake.
