Reviews

Not a single review for this masterpiece? Alright I’ll have a go at it. Not only is this a beyond magnificent album from Miles transitional period, this is a pressing you need to hear to be believed. I haven’t heard any other version of this album on vinyl, but I doubt I need to. This Japanese pressing, which I found cheap in a shop in Tokyo, will completely change your perception of this album and jazz in general. It’s that good. Every instrument has space to breathe and the clarity, definition and punch of this record out of my speakers is the stuff you dream of hearing. No doubt this was made using this original tapes, and as with every other Japanese pressing I own, is free from any bit of crackle and distortion. Do not hesitate to grab this pressing, it’s likely the only one you will ever need.
