I thinking "$45?! That's crazy. Alright, I'll take it (but thought I overpaid)." Then I heard it.....easily best press I've heard of this record.

This version sounds ok. The mids sound very good but those aside nothing particularly mind-blowing. The trebles are a bit "splashy". The 1991 UK OG is brighter and more present.

When turned to optimal volume I actually prefer 2021 black smoke color reissue from Pallas better than this Simply Vinyl pressing. It's weird, but I can't hear the cymbals as well on this. Otherwise this is quite good, and doesn't have the hot "s"s on "Nothing Else Matters" like the 2021 does.

Does anyone happen to know how limited this limited edition might be?

Had quite a few pressings of this for a long time. Recently fell back in love with it, and bought the current remastered version that didn’t really do it for me. Was recommend this by quite a few folks. Best pressing I’ve heard. I don’t own all, but I did own an original pres until I got this one. I sold the original for a nice little chunk. No reason for me to keep it.

I’d recommend this pressing highly. Jump on it before it goes even higher, because that’s what happens around these parts.

so impressive to listen to this release! With an good MC cartridge even more! wide dynamic range with perfect separation and huge tight bass. It is hit and miss with simply vinyl, but all the vertigo releases through SV are a hit!!

My copy came without inners or booklet/insert with the lyrics or whatever like Lanakias1 state’s. Shame it didn’t. Well any who. This pressing sounds phenomenal! Out of all the pressings this one is the Apex in of 33rpms.
Instrument separate is perfect. They use virgin vinyl cause there is no surface noise what so ever. Bass thick and depth. It’s is colorfully atmospheric. There are music pieces in the background I have never notice before. I’m proud to own this pressing and if you don’t have it, get it before it gets too expensive.

Edit: While I still praise this high among to other pressings, I recently got the Warner 08 US 33rpm and I believe it beats this pressing. Regardless though both pressings are phenomenal in their own right.

If you love this album get this pressing!!.

Notice how when vinyl started to die, they made the best pressings of these classic rock staple albums?

After playing this version and the half-speed 45RPM version - have to say this version sounds better. More crisp in my opinion. Get this version if you can!
