Edited 6 months agoThe absolute peak of Celtic Frost. Self produced...and what a job they made.
Owned this copy since 1987...been played on very good systems...however..if you haven't a top notch turntable-take the record to a hi-fi store and ask to hear it on their best system. You will be blown away....3D avant-garde metal, the male/female vocal exchanges on Rex Irae are incredible+the strings aren't harsh at full volume, the synth drums on One in their Pride are huge.
Genial production on such a heavy album.

Stupendously good album in every way. -
Diverse. Unique. Superb album. Equal to
" Monotheist " in its five marks out of five.
Cover artwork also highly rated.
