Sounds way better than the Dosage or Greatest Hits vinyl editions. This one actually has some meat ( bass) on it. Pretty good album from their catalog too. I appreciate bands putting their stuff out on vinyl from the CD age. Collective Soul have been trickling their lps almost every RSD.

I've read about everyone saying this album does not sound good after I came back home from record store day, so I was not expecting much. But, when I through this one on; I was very impressed cause my expectations were very low. It sounds like every normal record to me. The disc is pressed straight and flat. Bass is nice with good. Like I said it does not sound like some of my red hot chili peppers but it sounds really good. Get this one before it's to late!!!

Edited one month agoReading all of comments below makes this a no for me. If you are't going to release an album like this properly then don't bother at all. I have always found CRAFT Recordings vinyl to be warped. Shame, as some awesome Mixers worked on this release. Jack Joseph Puig and Chris Lord-Alge. I read similar disappointments for the new 2025 RSD release of The Grays vinyl (also Jack Joseph Puig). SMH...

I'll be honest, none of the RSD Collective Soul albums sound great. But it's always a thrill to add to my collection. They are just a bit flat and quiet. If you turn it up tho, sounds decent, however I think these albums deserve better pressings! Doubt we will ever get those so grab this now before it's too late.

Glad to add another CS record to my collection. Audio seems a bit flat but if you are a CS fan it’s still a nice addition. Vinyl was really stuck to inner jacket as previously mentioned. My copy had a very small looking scratch on side A last few seconds of track 6 but it doesn’t skip and it’s at the very end of the song on the quiet Westin anyway, so it just sounds like normal static. Still happy to add it to my collection. 4/5 stars due to the small issues I had

Edited one month ago5 stars just cos I’m stoked to have this in the collection. We are going to have to wait for another 4-5 RSD’s to complete their entire back catalogue on vinyl by the looks of it.
Vinyl was filthy with muck straight out of the jacket as you’d expect Grrrr. Again as with Dosage, this could have benefited from a two disc release to avoid the obvious compression. Not bad but not great either.
Cover art resolution is poor again like RSD 2024 Dosage offering. That aside it’s still a cracking 90’s banger.
I doubt it will get another pressing later as other Collective Soul RSD releases have yet to be reissued on black vinyl.
So grab while you can!!!
