Great release, hot, loud and it cooks. So glad to have many of these tracks on vinyl finally. Grab this! -
Sounds great. I have a few original analog releases... It is so difficult to compare. But we get what we have. Good dynamics, flat as you can desire, no noise... the goods... I mean, use Starman to compare, the difference is to cry for... Nonetheless, get if cheap, get it as a "remaster", separated as you know it would be (I am only dancing is so left - center - right), and enjoy "his master voice". <3.

I wish every modern record sounds exactly the same, but perhaps Bowie record was near perfection also 40 years ago! Love it -
I got the Bowie record store day releasee Waiting. Is it worth getting this one ? -
Amazing sounding release! I really can't complain about anything here, other than the lack of any liner notes.
It was completely perfect (no pops, ticks, or surface noise) straight out of the sleeve without any sort of major cleaning.
The cover is neat, the mixes are fantastic, the pressing is stellar and the mastering is superb.
Get it while you can. -
Great collection of songs but Im slightly cynical about its release. The Space Oddity and Hunky Dory ones like this fitted in with contemporary track listings back then. This - what is it but a compilation? Or a sampler for the big box ?
Whatever it is, I still bought it !

Costed 45 where I got it, and a bit let down given it just comes in a generic sleeve, with nothing else. The foil cover is a bit cool, but it seems a bit too dull for me to prefer over just a standard photo. Pressing itself sounds alright though, similar to other recent bowie releases -
Edited 11 months agoThis pressing sounds great to me, quiet and plenty dynamic. The drums sound like they could have been recorded by albini in the 90s, super punchy. I think it sounds better than the recent RSD release Waiting In The Sky which is a little flat in comparison to my ears.
It also feels like 180g to me...
