Instant classic. Best Stones LP since Some Girls. How on earth did they recapture that 70’s Stones Magic, and so out of the blue? Still has me shaking my head a year and half later.

Major boo to you analog snobs as it sounds great to my ears. The overall sound production is very good as is the toe tapping song selection. And kudos to Keith for throwing in some damn good solos. You'd never know the "boys" were 80 if you didn't already know it. I think Lady Gaga was a fine selection on Sweet Sounds of Heaven too. Only throwaway here is the last track.

I bought a crystal vinyl "Hackney Diamons" and got one with two identical sides. Twice the A-side. Both label and pressing

I wrote a review for analog. Most of the readers of the Magazin are Friends of Music with less or no compression. The First thing i thought was "it doesn't sound". To much Compression. Sorry to say that, not a good done job. That maked me angry, because the music is verry good. And i disagree with persons, who say, Lady Gaga is better not to hear on "sweet sounds of heaven". Lady Gaga and Mick made it verry well. So Music 5 Points, Sound only 2,5 Points.

Stunning pressing of an album that seemed to come out of nowhere. Clean sound, one to play loud.
They literally have nothing left to prove and they drop an LP, which I’m honestly considering could likely make their top ten (if not, definitely twenty) in of studio efforts. -
I have nothing against Lady Gaga, she's a rare talent with an incredible vocal range and will probably attain legend status, if she hasn't already. But why did they think it was a good idea to have her wailing along to 'Sweet Sounds Of Heaven'? In my opinion it would have been better with just Mick, or at least less of the wailing. Less really is sometimes more.

No extras my copy. The graphics are cat vomit. I agree with the over-production quibbles, however: I was really surprised that I liked a lot of the tunes. Sounds like the stones quite often, a trick no one else ever mastered. I haven't bought any "new" Stones since 70's, having seen both Brian Jones and Mick Taylor-sorta getting used to Ronnie. My vinyl was flat, clean, no rumble or jumping. A few of these songs are keepers. Way to go boys.

The mix makes this album almost unlistenable. Its just a hot bright mess of everyone playing on top of each other. The artwork could have been so much better too.
