3 different orders thru Amazon all 3 have the same bowl warp. Packaging was fine, order/replacements ordered a few weeks apart

Yuk. Sounds like Cd on vinyl here. Save your $$$ and just buy the CD and it will sound better. I had to fire up my Lokius 6 band EQ to make this sound bearable.

Just picked up a pre-owned copy today. Excellent condition. Still in shrinkwrap and not a scratch on the vinyl. I did dust it but did not give it a bath. It plays quiet with no pops, fizz, hiss, or any other wonky surface noise. The vinyl is nice and flat. Sound? It's not bad at all. I have other albums that are absolutey way more dynamic, but this isn't bad. It has a good balance from top to bottom. It's not muddy and the mids-highs are crisp and clear.

My copy sounds just fine, maybe because it was pressed in Canada? I added variant #2 and have no complaints. Good sound, very little surface noise. I’d recommend my variant for purchase.

Really poor pressing and mastering job. Literally cd pressed to vinyl. Zero dynamic range and it took 3 copies to obtain a copy that wasn’t full of surface noise. *Sigh*. My Ixnay vinyl from 1997 absolutely blows this away.

Edited 2 years agoMy brand new copy has a lot of crackling and high level of surface noise. Max VG+ when should have been Mint. Cleaning has not helped much. To top it off it costs the same as many 2xLP release and comes in a basic plain paper inner sleeve. Cant think of many good reason to get this poor pressing. Music is good, but release quality is pretty bad.
