Sonically sounds great but quality control on these is awful. Had to go through 3 copies just to get one without any major issues (loud noises, distortion on the final track, etc)
-
Sounds incredible, except side C because disc 2 is cupped/dished pretty badly even though I bought it brand new. Side D plays fine with a weight on top, but C sounds noticeably weak and warbly :(

Runouts are different on my copy.
Etched: 005099969423918 • A • KR (signature)
Stamped: [1251745] 01010101
I ordered from Acoustic Sounds, which indicated this was pressed at RTI. -
Mine sounds good, little to no sibilance, and thankfully I didn't get any skips like some other people were reporting. Though the labels on both discs are reversed, where side A is labeled as side B, and side C is labeled as side D

i feel like the beasties production really shines the best on this format. amazing bass, punchy synths and clear vocals.

I found one of the aforementioned new Bellman pressings (with a Made In sticker but no hype sticker) through a Prime seller called DiscountVinylRecords for $24.99 (plus tax)…fair prices still exist, friends. Amazing pressing and packaging all around.
-
I just picked this up and the run outs don’t exactly match the ids on this listing - the Lacquers on mine were cut by Chris Bellman. Also pressed at Pallas USA. However the jacket has a made in sticker on the back with Made in EU on the jacket. Mine also did not have the hype sticker on the front. Seeing as I purchased this brand new in Austin TX in 2023, I’m pretty sure I have this US release and not the 2009 EU one.
As far as this pressing goes - Dead Quiet and flat. As for the mastering- deep deep bass, wide soundstage, super clear vocals. Chris Bellman is a master of mastering, what can I say. -
-
Factory error on C1 on my copy, really sucks getting expensive new albums like this and getting skips for no reason.
