What an album. Absolutely stunning, musically.
My sealed copy was filthy when I opened it, covered in crap and with a big streak across the vinyl. But, after a good clean, it’s not too bad. A few crackles here and there but not as noisy as some have said. -
My copy is fine and really sounds great too but I which for more wider soundstage/separation left right. Everything here is very centered -
Enjoying a digital version of this album for a while I finally bought this repress on vinyl.
This is seriously one of the worst pressings I've bought in the last months!
Apart from the often decried mastering (which, frankly, I could live with) there's crackles and pops all over, even after wet cleaning, playing, cleaning again..
..complete waste of time. -
My copy is flawless. No surface noise of any type, clean, smooth reproduction from start to finish.
I wouldn't say something's lacking mastering wise, as previously reviewed. Sounds amazing to my ears, really. Pretty balanced, nothing overshadows anything.

Edited 2 years agoThe music is great. The mastering is reasonable (I wish it was more spacious). There are moments on this record that will test your system's low frequency reach. The sound is fat, dynamic, with Dayes' drums crisp in the center. The pressing could be better - some cracks, some surface noise here and there even after two us cleaning sessions. My copy was also pretty dirty despite being brand new.
