I got this for my birthday earlier in the year. I don't usually get compliation albums for bands I really like. I mainly wanted it so I could get the song "The Game" on vinyl. Pretty much it. Though it does serve the purpose as there are albums I haven't had a chance to get yet. There are also songs I haven't got with them being non album singles. Such as "Killed By Death". This pressing though is outstanding in of sound. The song "The Game" sounds fantastic on vinyl and I'm glad to have it.
Hopefully one day they release "King Of Kings" & "Line In The Sand (Evolution)" on vinyl. -
The compilation sounds good but as a lot of s here said those printed inner sleeves are not the best idea. They could release it in smaller box instead.
-
1916 and I Ain’t No Nice Guy just ruined the goddamned collection for me! “Their loudest songs ever” and “The very best of Motorhead” are just cheap misleading slogans, most of the set is awesome but why in the hell they can’t deliver the very thing the set promised? Check yours for manufacturing errors, first set i bought had a horrible scratch and some leftover glue on the last 3 songs of disc 4…

It seems like a kind of random compilation at first, but let me tell you it shows Motorhead in all its glory. 40 songs and no weak points here, it just shows how amazing this band was. Of course I would put another 20 songs in but it's a great compilation anyway, not a typical "greatest hits" but rather a two-hour Motorhead experience. Recommended for everyone!

Agree with all comments below. Cleaned mine with L'art du Son prior to playing and vinyl now kept in anti static inners. Sounds good BUT come on new pressing plants WAKE UP and take some care with your products. Warps, ripples and off centre pressings. You need to do better. Alot better.
Rant over.
Thank you. -
Not a fan of printed slevees that damage the record, but the foldout poster that olds everything together and serves as packging is of great quality, seriously a super compilation
-
Edited 3 years agoMine also came out with some scuffs/marks, and in these awful tight gloss paper picture sleeves that cling to the disc as you try to pull them out.
Non the less the sound quality is ok, but probably could be better.
Still a great compilation / package though -
Came out with skuffs and 2 discs slightly warped. Ok soundquality but this could have been so much better. MPO pressing, not the best but not as bad as GZ.
-
The foldout sleeve that's holding the vinyl makes a nice change of packaging.
Artwork looks great and is embossed on the front cover. Tracklist is a good overview of this legendary outfit.
Very nice quality vinyl release.
RIP Lemmy,Fast Eddy and Philthy Animal Taylor. -
Nice and quiet vinyl, perfectly flat but let down by odd marking on vinyl and occassional very light scratch mark on pretty much all the discs. Nevertheless plays perfectly.
