fantastic pressing, fantastic album. i thought i was getting if for a steal until i noticed its cheap everywhere, so thats a bonus.

No warps, fairly quiet but a quite dynamic pressing. I only have my original CD to compare (never had this on vinyl!) and this is well balanced and reveals much of the nuance lacking in the poorly EQ’d cd.

It can be hard to rate lo-fi recordings like this one in of pressing/ mastering quality, simply because the original source can sound muffled or "fuzzy" as this one does. But to my ears this record sounds as it should sound. It's a highly enjoyable listen all the way through. No surface noise that I can hear.
A few people have commented on the poly sleeve, but I'm curious. This seems a bit thicker than the poly in the poly lined paper sleeves. Can anyone confirm that this is not a form of PVC or anything that can cause off gassing? I'm tempted to put this in a poly lined paper sleeve just because I know those are safe for long term storage. -

Packaging is really outstanding. Love the artwork and comes with a poly sleeve which is rare. My only other album that came stock with poly sleeves was Beach House’s Zebra. Album sounds great too. This is cheap, it’s a no brainer, get it.

is anybody else’s copy muffled to all hell? louder parts are crisp and clear, but quiet/acoustic ages i can barely understand what mangum is saying. besides that, my listening experience is quite nice. love this album.
-
Slightly warped and had a jump on track 4. This is a shame as the sound of the pressing is very good overall - was very happy until this point. I’ll report back when I get my next copy.
-
Mine has a slight warp but no effect on playback... silent vinyl and sounds brilliant
This recording has always been compressed and in your face , that is just how it sounds...
Brilliant from start to finish, nothing else like it.
