Over-sized 6- DigiSleeve with embedded electronic audio/video device. When the right that covers the device is lifted a 4" HD screen and a 2-watt speaker simultaneously and automaticly start to play exclusive video footage and a single audio track. Device shutting off when gets closed back again. This audio/video artwork will loop twice and then shut down if there is no interaction with any of the five control buttons (Volume higher, -lower, Play/Pause underneath the screen plus an additional pair for volume on the packages back side). The internal battery can be charged via dedicated socket in the package, a short USB to Mini-USB charging cable is also provided. Comes with 36-page booklet that has several glossy/embossed artwork and parchment paper pages and printed lyrics. Includes an info card with an individual code for a single of all songs of the album as mp3 audio files. Sleeve is made glossy. CD is housed in a printed cardboard sleeve. 3 sticker to be found on shrink wrap: album hype sticker and a yellow “FSK ab 6 freigegeben“ sticker (age restricion for ) found on cover, production companies sticker on back cover.

Masterpiece! Production at the highest possible level! Wonderful instrumentality selectivity! And the music ... atmospheric, multi-faceted, original ... I love this album and I know that I won't be able to pull it out of my CD player for a long time !!! -
Don't understand the different releases at all. Mine has the German Yellow 6 sticker on the front but the 9 sided shape on the back.What version is that ? Cracking Album though.

Edited 5 years agoThe other day I went to my friend Babish Patel’s house, and he was playing this album when I arrived (I did not know what it actually was at that point). When Babish saw me tapping my foot in time to the groovy, progressive metal beats, he asked me “What’s your favorite Tool?” to which I replied, after a few seconds thought, “a hammer”. Well, Babish immediately fell about laughing hysterically, and when he had managed to compose himself enough to explain the reason for his mirth, I fell about laughing hysterically too, which set Babish off again. What a misunderstanding!! -
The only question that I have in my mind now is: when the battery of the screen will goes to end her charge cicles and die, how to remove?

To me, simply the best album on earth. Unprecedented musicianship. Astonishing!

I hardly buy CD´s anymore, but fortunately Tool gives me a great reason to buy the CD version. Great package. And above that: the album is mindblowing, with great clean production.

Does anyone know if the EU version has three different variants like the US version? Aside from the front and back stickers the EU version looks identical to US version 1. Thanks in advance.

I wonder how many of these were made. How limited is limited? I can see that the shops in Sweden have mostly sold out. The shop I bought my copy from doesn't even list the album at all now. Great album though albeit typical Tool.

It sounds like someone dropped something on a tiled floor and then attempted to mix it into something listenable. 5 stars.
