Edited one year agoVery good pressing. Maybe the original Roadrunner ones were a tiny bit punchier and "darker" in tone, but this is very balanced, clean and detailed. And definitely less crackly than the Roadrunner!

Easily one of the best records I own. Not much to say besides everyone has said in the other comments. Beautiful edition.

Sound is truly spectacular. There’s some serious meat on these bones. Everything sounds full and heavy. Highs maybe slightly rolled off, mids are massive and the low end will test your speakers. Instrument separation is phenomenal. Little to no surface noise. Clean and flat vinyl. -
This is the best LP I own hands down, the sound is stellar and incredibly detailled, any CD version of this album feel like the songs are trapped and locked up in a tiny box in comparison, this is a must buy for every Opeth fan. -
Amazing sound, low surface noise. Very happy! I have 3 music on vinyl records, they all sound great. -
Has anyone compared this with original pressing cut by Ray Janos? Interested in sound comparison.

Sound is fantastic. Slight nitpick: Reverie shows up at the end of side two instead of being in front of Harlequin Forest on side three.
