Brilliant album, for the record my pressing sounds great, very quiet, yes it's not the most dynamic sounding album but that's just the way it was recorded, some tracks sound slightly better than others but as I said that's the choices they made when they recorded the album, has nothing to do with any particular pressing, this pressing is as good as any.

    A modern classic.

Its such a great record...it I came late to the party on this one and have this later press, but why oh why does it have to sound like it was recorded through two tin cans with a string attaching them, covered by a sheet and played back through a speakn'spell....music is so dope....sound quality so bad. vinyl is quiet, the latest repress has no tip-on sleeve but Terry Cole is doing the lord's work, bringing the gospel to the people...

Nice authentic music, musicians are really used a time machine to fly in 2016 and make it like in 60’s!!!
Quality of vinyl is 3/5, there are many clicks and little noise along the record.

This review is based on my listening experience using a custom built U-Turn Orbit turntable with a built in Pluto amplifier & a Ortofon 2M Red cartridge paired with Edifier R2000db powered speakers.

I’m not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination but I’m an aspiring one.

The record itself is an absolute masterpiece. This sounds straight out of the Motown era... except for the fact it was made in 2018. Start to finish an exciting & dynamic listening experience.

As for the vinyl’s audio quality, I give it a 3/5 stars because I do hear occasional pops BUT I hypothesize it’s because I didn’t clean the record very well. This is literally the first record I’ve ever played, so I’m confident it’s a error here. I will provide an update next time I let this funky puppy out the cage again... because I certainly will! This is too good not to!
