Notes
While the booklet notes incorrectly call this a digipak, it is actually a tri-fold digifile sleeve replicating the packaging of the RSD vinyl release.
Artist name given simply as 'Bowie' (in the style of Diamond Dogs) on front cover.
Includes a 12-page booklet.
Timings not listed on sleeve.
A previously officially unreleased live recording from Los Angeles on 5th September, 1974, between the Diamond Dogs tour and the Philly Dogs tour. Produced by David Bowie and mixed by Tony Visconti at Human Studios, NYC in October/November 2016.
Recorded live at Los Angeles Amphitheatre, L.A. California, USA 1974, September 5, as part of the BBC coverage of Bowie's 1974 tour and then current period. Some recordings and footage from the concert were first broadcast in 1975 on the BBC TV special "Cracked Actor". In 1990 the professionally recorded tapes were first made available unofficially in a different mix than the one included on the official release. There is a myriad of releases, including some that contain the full intro (here reduced to less than two minutes), and more of the stage commentary from Bowie himself than is included on the official release. See David Bowie - Strange Fascination for the master release of the unofficial releases.
Mixed at Human Studios, NY in October/November 2016.
Mastering at Air Mastering, London.
Project produced for release for Warner Music and RZO Music.
Design at Gas Associates, London, 2016.

Edited 7 years agowell I finally have it in my hands (and ears) its brilliant!
after the experience with Nassau 76 i always worry when a much loved show known to fans in Bootleg form gets the official treatment but this is fantastic!
If you're used to the Bootleg I don't think you will suffer a shock when buying the official version, the Bass is still huge
but now the Guitar is back where it belongs.
a monster of a show that leaps out of the speakers and erases all bad memories of the anaemic "David Live" -
Edited 7 years agore: product description, the 1990 Bootleg Release Strange Fascination is not from the pro source! a Japanese Taper made an audience recording near the speaker stacks and that is the bootleg, the cut in All the young Dudes is caused by the tape flip
