Nice sound. Great cardboard package as usual Japanese pressings. W

I have a version of this release, i think, with matrix/run-out: R/S Alsdorf 58175 A4 X and R/S Alsdorf 58175 B3 and GB etched. The label are different and don't indicate if its Side 1 or Side 2, have no STEREO printed and have no rights society listed on the label. Or maybe it´s another release? Anyone else familiar with this different label?

The cymbals are rolled off and the low end is thin sounding. Center image is a bit muddy. Not great, not terrible.

Pressing: 6/10

This is a solid pressing. It's nice and quiet with decent separation, but not as punchy as my repress of Heaven Up Here. Probably due to the source rather than the pressing.

Listening to this now...what an amazing album..also an excellent reissue from Rhino. Vinyl is flat /Quiet and has a massive soundscape...considering the limited production budget the band had at the time. Bass and Drums are pounding and the guitars locate perfectly. Def and awesome sounding disc.

I have a clean copy of this release, but the sibilance is over the top, rendering it nearly unlistenable.

Classic post punk with a psychedelic flair. This pressing sounds great. Nice separation and good mix. My copy is super quiet.

Have we not by now realised that plenty of people have this so called first pressing and have the free 7”

I’ve never understood this overated band,it just has not clicked in my one track mind.The only really good thing about this band is the covers of their records(photographed bythe magnificent Brian Griffin).

A momentously amazing pressing, the only song truly lacking was Villiers Terrace and Monkeys. Villiers Terrace is probably one of the their most masterful tracks, so maybe i should try on another system, but the mix is not as good for those songs in particular.

Everything else is stupendously good, i probably should try on an even higher end system. Could also easily be EQ'd
