The Fatboy's Old Skool mix of Wildchild's 1995 "Renegade Master" (itself a remix of A.D.O.R.'s hip hop "One For The Trouble") transformed it into a big beat dancefloor monster.

The heavy, slightly syncopated beat combined drums from two recent breaks tracks: Hal 9000's Let Me Clear My Throat".

Simple yet effective, it was the most successful version of "Renegade Master", reaching #3 in the UK singles chart - and arguably the Fatboy's finest remix. (8)

Fatboy Slim "Old Skool Mix" mixes things up a bit and adds a nice different dynamic - but lets be honest can you really beat the original which you get on this 12" with the "Extended Original Mix" which is just timeless.

Both the Young & dangerous are listed as mixes on the promo. The one listed here as the dub has more vocals and the other sounds more of a dub. Think they may of been listed the wrong way round here, although the First bit of vinyl would make more sense to have the mix.

The original house version is utterly brilliant and is the only mix. Fatboy Slim's undeservedly better known big beat effort is 90's garbage at its absolute worst.

Oh my gosh people, now this is one of the GREATEST dance records ever to grace mankind. Wildchild's absolutely INCREDIBLE, Renegade Master is my "Anthem".

Disc 1 Side A is of course, Fatboy Slim's mix, and it is just one hell of an amazing tune! The ultimate song to bug your parents!!!! This side also has a housier mix with James Brown samples, that is good, but (despite the James Brown samples) ain't a patch on the first remix

Stretch and Vern's remixes on Disc 1 Side B are good, but don't beat Fatboy Slim's. Disc 2 Side A has the amazing original track, that would still work well in a set in 2008/9. Pure house goodness, and also got the bonus acapella!!!!

The last track is on Disc 2 Side B, and is a really cool Drum and Bass remix of the original track. A lot like "Rock The Funky Beat" by Natural Born Chillers.

One last thing
