That's awful. Cassius was some of the first electronic music I heard on the radio as a fresh faced 11/12 year old way back in 1999.

Havn't really been paying attention to what Phillipe has been up to these days but the Cassius "1999" album, especially "Cassius '99" and "Feelings For You" will always take me straight back to the blue skies and seeming endless Summer Of 1999.

Thanks for the music Phillipe. May you be pumping out late 90s French Touch vibes in the great studio in the sky.

Piccadilly Key 103 was the station I always tuned into whenever I was across in Manchester partying and tune hunting at Eastern Bloc & Manchester Underground. Stu Allen opened my eyes up to music that hadn't reached my end of the country yet with his mixing style similar to that of Dj Ratty tho I think Stu came b4 him. That's a sad shame.

Still in shock & really choked.. this one has hit hard.

Top Buzz were my rave heroes - the had a unique sound down to Jason Kaye's selections. In a similar way that people talk about Sasha tunes or Weatherall tunes or Harvey tunes & obsess about IDs - same was / is for Top Buzz tunes.

I wasn't expecting to see that name when I came to this thread. I loved their selections from the early '90s. Moreso than many others to be honest. His selections were always unique. One of the original Jungle Techno dons.
