Buying with Record Culture - The T's & C's.

We keep our shipping costs straightforward and affordable, using a series of weight-based flat fees, rather than charging per additional item. Simply add items to your cart and the appropriate shipping costs will be available to you up-front before you buy a thing.
In the UK, it is recommended to choose recorded delivery for orders above £50 for better protection against loss. Recorded delivery costs just £1 extra. Orders above 2kg are sent by tracked courier.

PACKAGING

We’re no slouches. We secure your vinyl in purpose-made, hard-wearing record mailers with robust stiffeners. We've got your larger orders and bulky items covered, too, using an even hardier mailer plus chunky corner protectors where required. So don't worry about slipping that extra record or two into your order; our large order packaging is bomb-proof!

INTERNATIONAL COSTS

We no longer list all the different costs here like we used to because shipping costs are constantly changing at the moment. However, all costs are up front and visible for all customers to see on the listing page, so you always know what shipping is going to cost you before you place any order.

IMPORTANT: We have two shipping options for International customers. 'Standard' or 'International Tracked & Signed'. As the shipping options clearly state, 'Standard' shipping has [b]NO TRACKING[b] information. Please be aware of this when you place the order. 99% of the time this causes no issues for customers, but there is always a risk with non-tracked shipping and this is why it is the cheaper shipping option. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

Some boring, but important, stuff...

• All second-hand records are graded using Goldmine Standards and, to avoid contention, we grade VERY conservatively. This means that a piece of vinyl graded as VG+ by us could by many sellers actually grade at NM. Every second-hand record we sell will have been professionally cleaned and spot-played to give the most accurate grading. Most of our stock is actually brand new shop stock, so when we use MINT we mean brand new & sealed.

• Please note that for insurance/protection purposes we must ship to your PayPal address. If it differs to your Discogs address we will ask you for confirmation before shipping anything, so to avoid delays do double check this before ordering. On a similar note, ensure that you always provide your full, correct address. This is particularly important for overseas orders. Orders that are returned to us undelivered because of insufficient address details are not eligible for postage refund, or re-sending unless the customer wishes to cover the postage again.

• We offer tracked shipping with good reason. It is the only shipping method that guarantees protection against loss, theft etc. However, we don't want to put blanket policies in place that mean you MUST have expensive tracked shipping. We very rarely have parcels go missing but please understand that if you choose the cheaper standard shipping it is a risk you take - please do not assume that we should be liable if a parcel gets lost with non-tracked shipping. AGAIN, 'standard' shipping has no tracking information available.

• Discogs is just one of our sales channels; we also sell via our own web store and in person. As such an item from our inventory could sell elsewhere before we’ve had chance to update Discogs. Very few and far between but it can happen. Please note that leaving negative for such things is a pretty uncool thing to do so be nice.
