I use a very strict visual grading system under a strong angled spotlight because of the quantity and time I cannot play test all.

I try to be very meticulous and give as much information as possible.
I only use Mint condition if the item is still sealed, most items are Very good+Excellent to Near Mint condition.
I don't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly that no record is ever truly perfect)
(As per Discogs grading conditions) Vinyl has always been a fickle media. Please do not expect no crackle or noise of any kind that just isn't realistic. In fact I tend to under grade to be on the safe side because I want you to be truly happy with your purchase and most items are around the medium price range scale.
The hairlines that are left on the surface of the vinyl. These are usually caused by the friction between stiff card and unlined paper sleeves, dust/dirt and the soft vinyl. If there are a fair few hairlines on a record, I downgrade But most hairlines rarely interfere with playback. Tics/Pops and crackle stem from either deep scratches, dirty grooves or poor quality vinyl.

ALL ORIGINAL CD/CASSETTE PLASTIC JEWEL CASES OBVIOUSLY WILL HAVE MARKS AND SHOW WEAR. These are not graded as they are usually replaceable. Hype stickers and any other labels will be included in the description. DELICATE DIGIPAKS / CARD SLIPCASES may display very slight storage marks. Most are Nearly Perfect but will list any imperfections. As with most Cd singles the non media outer area may display some marks that do not affect play, these marks are generally caused by the playing side being placed in the plastic Cd tray the wrong way.
PLEASE NOTE CASSETTES HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED RIGHT THROUGH ONLY BRIEFLY TESTED AND CAREFULLY RETURNED TO THE START SOME ARE QUITE OLD AND EXTREMELY FRAGILE AND CAN LOOK VERY GOOD VISUALLY BUT ON PLAYING THERE MAYBE PROBLEMS SO ARE SOLD AS COLLECTABLE ITEMS.

7" SINGLES WILL BE SENT IN THE ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVES OR A NEW REPRODUCTION WHERE POSSIBLE.
OR A GENERIC - NEW PLAIN BLACK OR WHITE SLEEVE.
SINGLES CDS AND ALBUMS COME WITH NEW OUTER POLYTHENE SLEEVES.
VINYL ALBUMS WILL BE SENT WITH NEW POLY LINED INNERS OUTSIDE OF THE COVER IN DEFENDA MUSIC MAX CARD MAILERS.

The Smallest Features In A Vinyl Record Groove Are The Size Of A Few Micrometers. Due To Their Minute Size, It Is Difficult For The Bristles Of A Typical Vinyl Cleaning Brush To Clean The Entirety Of The Record Groove.
Degritter Removes Contaminants From Records Layer By Layer. The Cleaning Is Equally Strong On The Top Of The Groove And Inside The Groove.
