Very bad pressing. When I listened to holy man for the first time, I feared that my record player had ed away, because left channel sounds so muffled. Never buy this edition!

Edited 4 months agoThis comes in an non gate-fold album cover that still opens like a book and has a "inner pocket" for the record and inner sleeve to fit into, all these covers are of very good quality for the price point.
My copy is flat, has a well centered spindle hole noise free on 180g of black vinyl.
All tracks bar 3 are only written by PW so you better believe you`re getting fully "Modfathered" on this one.
Songs are lead guitar driven as a given but the bass guitar plays a significant part here adding to the dynamic range and musical accomplishment with gusto.
This one was done correctly on all fronts i.m.o even the price brand new is affordable - Recommended Five Stars *****

Cut quieter, and a few pop, but for the price ok…BUT curious, no Hung Up, whose decision was that? Mistake

Just got the 2021 repress and am very impressed. The sound quality is excellent. Cut slightly quieter than the majority of my records and the vinyl isn’t dead quiet (slight noise between tracks), but turn this up a few dB and it’s fantastic. Really dynamic, rich, articulate with a really good soundstage.
Highly recommended pressing. -
Question? How do I know the difference between the 2017 pressing and the 2020/2021 repress? Barcodes are the same! Hoping someone of expertise can enlighten me. Thanks in advance

Bit confused as the catalogue number and barcode for this is exactly the same as the 2020/21 release, so I don't know if mine is the 2020/21 or the 2017 but mine sounds great! If anyone knows how to differentiate between them please let me know!

Really happy with this LP! The sound is very engaging, clear and rich. At £30+ it's more expensive than the 'average' LP but I think it's worth it.
