It is at this point in Radiohead's career where they have shed nearly all resemblance to the Brit-rockers that put out "Creep"... The King Of Limbs is the band at its most abstract, but after a few listens the beauty of the songs really glow through the atmospheric, somewhat experimental veneer. For a record that is deeply rooted in electronica, it maintains an unexpected warmth, especially in its second half. As for the vinyl itself, it is just as high quality as I found my blue copy of OKNOTOK to be-- and that is superb (perhaps not as good as the UK XL pressing of Kid A, but to me, that is the gold standard and hard to top). On "Giving Up The Ghost" it sounds like Thom is in the room with me on acoustic guitar. All the instruments and sounds are clearly defined with no distortion of any kind. It's lovely in all aspects. I've read about other pressings that are not up to par, but this US version is absolutely great. Highly recommended if you like this album-- and listening to it in this format might get you to like it even more.

Picked this up today and I have to say it sounds pretty good. I don't have another pressing to compare but the sound quality is very good. There is some static though, not major but pretty typical.

Edited 8 years agoContinuing with the below comment....and how does it compares to the original 12" 2011 pressing? I'm in dubio as in which one to buy. Thx!

Can someone review this if you own? I want to find out how it compares to the original 10" pressings.
