Spor's label debut is this huge Prologue, packed with four fat tracks and heavy breaked stuff.
The boss of Lifted music start this ep with a "Knock you down", typical techy track with loud bass-line and clear snares. The alarm sample is really good and the drop is a jumped moment like no other.
Next comes the most known duo into hard drum'n'bass scene : Evol intent for an usual hip-hop inspired track followed by destructured beats and a grimmy bass. Works very well !
The second plate is, i think, the better one.
You start it with a breaked drum track that became an anthem over here in , in only two weeks ! "Screw up" is an intelligent combination of hip-hop samples, breaked heavy beats and simple but sticky bass-line. It works everytime on the floor, actually i saw many people singing the hip-hop samples while dancing, told you that it's an anthem !
Then and for finish you have two guys that we didn't seen for a while : Unknown error (last popular release was the "Heaven & hell ep" @ Moving shadow, 2006), who signs here one of their best track. "Sucker punch" is a dynamic techy track with rolling bass and a well mastered beat. I particulary love the drop with his fade out/fade in, really a great musical moment !
This ep is a wonderful proof that Spor isn't joking and wants to play and produce heavy stuffs for wicked people. The only comment that i could make about this politic is : great ! Keep it going like that !
