Edited one month agoGreat album, nice song selection and a fantastic lineup of bands and artist. Soul Asylum are absolutely killing it on Barstool Blues. Just one thing, what’s up with the generic cover art? Looks like a bootleg or some crappy new age compilation or something. But yeah, whatever, great album nonetheless.

Wanted this album for a long time, finally purchased a copy. The Pixies cover of Winterlong has been a favorite of mine for a ling time, but the whole album is fantastic, really enjoyed it from start to finish. The cover of "Don't Let it Bring You Down" by VIctoria Williams is another standout track on this album as well.

Bought this new in 1989 and still playing it regularly 35 years later - I would find it hard to pick out a favourite, it’s a fabulous tribute album
