One of the most incredibly influential jungle tracks of all time, effortlessly combining atmospheric chiptune-esque synth layers with heavy bassline groove and aural pads. Dark jungle - atmospheric - call it what you like - certified banger.

This is one of many jungle tunes that have stood the test of time. I once heard someone refer to it as darkcore and I know what they mean, it's not full on Jungle yet and still has Hardcore elements to it. A few tunes fit this category, Champion Sound, Renegade snares, thru the vibe, just to name a few, it was like music was in it's own transitional stage and was evolving. Either way I succumb to the ridiculous prices on here ass the tune is still an absolute banger. Catch it at random on one of my sets on oldskoolfm.uk where we play some form of oldskool 24/7, mainly with tunes i've acquired from discogs

Edited 5 years agoOne of the most influential jungle tracks ever. Originally released as a b side track to “the touch” but ended up being the best seller when released as as a stand alone track. The track samples an old tv programme from the bbc called ‘QED’ (which was about out-of-body experiences) and the other sample is from the Apolla 11 lunar module landing on the moon - Jack King
