Hi family. Does anyone have an extra copy of Sides C and D. I have 2 copies of Sides A and B. Most peculiar. Maybe someone is interested in a swap.
Thank for taking your time to read this. X -
Got myself a NM Copy of this and I have to say it blows the 2018 reissue out of the water. There are details of music I am hearing for the first time. The reissue sounds muddy and bloated in comparison. This is the one to have. Sold my reissue on eBay.

Somehow, there was an original near mint copy of this on the wall at Amoeba in SF for $75. In original shrink and “Made in U.K.” sticker on the jacket and on a label on each disc. Never listened to this album since I wanted to find a vinyl copy, and holy moly did I strike gold with this one!
The mix, mastering, and overall quality of this release absolutely blow me away and have made me fall in love with this record. The jacket, sleeves, and lyric insert are thick, glossy, and high quality. The discs are beautiful and the pressing quality is flawless- no pops or crackling of any sort. The soundstage and instrument separation are phenomenal… there is something about the sounds and sampling that U2 were experimenting with at the time that translate perfectly on this vinyl.
I simply cannot understand how someone would take such pristine care of a limited 1997 UK press from a big band and then sell it to Amoeba for less than $75. Even if this release is not among U2’s most heralded works, this copy is so quality that it has made me think again about the role of POP in U2’s catalogue and career. Find a M/NM copy of this release, you will not regret it! -
This is getting a widely available repress on April 13, 2018, so if you want this record, but cannot afford a copy, now you can.
