Notes
Second version with a corrected producer credit for Dave Goodman on the B-side label.
Issued in red EMI company sleeve.
The first version (approximately 5000 copies) mistakenly credits Chis Thomas as producer of 'I Wanna Be Me' on the B-side label, and was issued in a plain black sleeve.
Copies exist with a post-manufacture red and white 'Factory Sample' sticker. See Images.
Copies from this same UK pressing were also distributed in Ireland in a green EMI (Ireland) company sleeve (also in Images).
There are some different colouring of the label on this. Darker like Anarchy In The U.K. or lighter, more orange. Mixed in different variations.

I have a copy of this single with both sides having the 'Anarchy in the UK' labels. Just wondering why it's not shown on here ?
Single has the correct tracks on both sides. 'I wanna be me' on B side . -
Edited 3 years agoI'd love to know how many of these were pressed, they are literally everywhere to be found on Discogs, eBay etc. Hardly a rare record on that basis.
I've heard rumours that every Woolworths and Hmv shops had a box of 100 or so given them prior to the release date that never happened because the band were dropped. Unlimited supply? -
Edited 3 years agoGot mine the first week it came out at the original Virgin store in Leeds, anyone that small little shop ?
It's got the correct credits and the red EMI standard sleeve, not the black one.
Still own it today alongside picture sleeve versions of GSTQ and Pretty Vacant plus an early press of Never Mind, 12 track version which came with a stapled photocopied set of lyrics written out by God knows who ? John, maybe, I dunno? Looks like it was meant as some promo offering ? Anyone come across this lyric sheet insert, it's very diy in aesthetics. Which is exactly the perfect look of course, right !
All of them are vg+ condition and would sell if anyone is interested. I need to reduce my record collection as I'm running out of space soon.
Just pm me if interested ? -
