The Young brothers were so ahead of their times. Back when this was released, nothing sounded even close to their method of music production or aesthetic and even today sounds as fresh as ever. Although they did find some limited fame with the M|A|R|R|S project, they never really were able to break through after that. This album will always be a classic IMO.

. . . and as comparison - the vinyl disc labels for the Colourbox album on the 4AD, home UK edition, are sublime in design, see album pics 2-3.
-
The first Colourbox album is not a compilation of singles. It is a mini-album of new dub tracks - none of which were singles. A new recording of Keep On Pushing did appear a year later on a b-side.

some interesting album psych and alt. music with some 80´s pop tunes, enjoyable nothing more, nothing less *** stars (65/100)
