Edited 17 years agoThis by far the best album by The Orb.Real nice soundscapes and basslines. Sometimes deep,then a little bit harder with pumping basslines. The full version of "The Blue Room" even is recorded in the Guiness Book of Records by being the longest track ever in a chart list. Looking in which year this album was released its was groundbreaking for the ambientscene. -
Edited 19 years agoThis IS actually The Orb's finest hour, and is still highly listenable. Mainly due to the wonderful harmonics and the lush production, combined with the exquisite use of samples. A must-own by The Orb.

This album is overrated and has not aged well at all. It's worth getting this 2 disc edition, however, for the original uncut "blue room" and the mix of "assassin" on the bonus disc. otherwise, a pretty disposable album (despite many dubious claims that it represents the orb's finest hour).
