Edited 8 years agoAny true junglist should own this seminal piece of Roots Reggae. An absolute classic 12". This 4 track 12 was a massive part of my childhood growing up in South London, I was ten in 1976 and just getting into music. This piece of vinyl really had an effect on me. Getting hard to find in decent condition in the original picture sleeve.

Edited 19 years agoOne of the greatest Roots Reggae anthems of all time. 'Police & Thieves' is a glorious piece of political/social commentary is true rastafarian style, mixed by the incomparable Lee 'Scratch' Perry. Junior Murvin's voice is achingly beautiful. Any self-respecting Reggae fan needs this record in their collection. ESSENTIAL & INSPIRING REGGAE MUSIC!
