I am trying to find a version of this (DJLPH 442) where there is a difference on the label between the two sides. On side 1 the section on the right that shows the printed dates (under DJLPH) the track numbers are in one format (1. (P) 1970) and on side 2 it shows them as (Tracks 1 & 5 (P) 1972). The word Tracks only appears on side 2 and I am unable to see a version on Discogs that has this difference. Any ideas?

I have an early MCA CD issue of this (albeit the second variation, which has the 'correct' tracks). It sounds great, but the attack of the first note of "Your Song" is clipped, and there is a quick fraction-of-a-second jump in the middle of the first chord of "Border Song". I don't know if this is an anomaly or if all the MCA CDs have these characteristics. Anyone know?

Ah, so now I understand why my SL-1610 MKII went berserk on this record - it was due to the translucent vinyl formula.
