interesting. My copy side 2, the label says 5105 but the runout says 4773. Maybe a transition copy? -

Sounds like the etching on side B of this version should probably actually be MCA-4773, based on the label picture as compared to Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party, right?

I scored MCA-4772/MCA-4773 at a local second hand store in Northern, CA for only $1. I was not sure until I looked it up here. The jacket and the vinyl are VG+. Great album, brings back memories of Weird Science and Back to School! The run time for Weird Science is indeed 6:10. -
Quoted directly from an Oingo Boingo Secret Society newsletter discography:
"The first release of Dead Man's Party has a different version of Weird Science on it than later releases. The only way to tell them apart is by looking on the inside band of the record itself. The original is MCA-4773; the re-released version is MCA-5105."
I have yet to personally compare these two versions myself. I do know that my Canadian pressing lists the song time for Weird Science as 6:00 as opposed to the 6:10 listed on other pressings.
