Yeah just listened to it again. Well they have clearly listened to Kraftwork and Moroder, like I said I'm not saying it's a bad track, in fact it's quite ahead of it's time. I just didn't get your dismissal of the rest of the LP. Maybe we are coming from different directions but I'm coming as an 80's London soulboy (and I think it's a classic album) through the early electro, hip-hop and Acid House and Detroit and European techno scene. Of course most EDM (lets call it techno) is crap now as the majority of the kids wouldn't know have a clue about the roots of it in Disco and Electro, Cybotron, Model 500 etc. They are just using emulators instead of the hardware which sounds a hell of a lot better and are just copying what everyone else is doing. That's why of you go to a club now in the UK all you here is a boring seamless mix of electronic nothingness, no melodies, no peaks etc. Fuck it, it's been going here since '88. It's about time it's had it's day. The last outstanding techno night I went to here was Jimmy Edgar from Detroit who has taken over the Derrick May/Juan Atkins baton. Tbh the most interesting production at the moment is on the Underground hip-hop scene by Jeremiah Jay, Madlib, Flying Lotus, Shabazz Palaces, Blu etc.

To the person who said it's 'dated', 'radio friendly' etc. what on earth are you on about? 'The Glow Of Love', 'Angel In My Pocket' 'Lovers Holiday' etc. You may as well say that everything is dated. The massively overrated Daft Punk just made what was a Chic song. And to be brutally honest the most dated sounding track on the album is 'The End', but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. The Early 80's was when Disco was at it's best - like post-punk is more interesting than punk, you could call it post - disco. Listen to Weeks and Co - Go With The Flow of Hi Voltage - Let's Get Horny and most early 80's Salsoul.
