My Unofficial purple copy is very noisy. The cover art is slightly blurred as is the label on the vinyl itself. The song End of time seems to be slightly quieter than the other tracks. The record also appears to have small "Dimples/Potmarks/Indents" on Side B.

I’m amazed at how many different bootleg copies of this were done, honestly this LP has got to be one of the most bootlegged albums of all time?!
-
Wouldn't it be nice to get an actual vinyl repress done properly and officially? With everything else getting repressed how the hell hasn't this??
-
Can someone, for the love of god and all that is holy, repress the first danzig albums in way that won't make my ears bleed? thanks
-
Why hasn't Glenn, in his infinite "wisdom," released a box set of the first few Danzig albums? Seems like a homerun and fans would eat it up. The fact that there hasn't been an official repress of the first album is ridiculous, lol. Yes, let's release terrible Elvis covers but not the original albums that everyone wants. Moron.

I bought a copy last year, or year before, there is no bar code and the round out has mother 1 (side 1) and mother 2 (side 2) etched on either side. No indication of when it was released, anyone have one similar and know the date?

Great debut album that still got on my nerves every time i play this black wicked heavy macho metal band .
The whole songs is nasty as it get ..the endless hypnotising evil bluesy rock riff .. such a great beer drinking album !
It will drives our soul ..twist of cain ..make it come alive .... Label : Def American Recordings
Released : US 1988

Listening to „She rides“ let me imagine the reincarnation of the dark side of Jim Morrison from the Doors. Great performance!
But there seems to be as well an acustic influence by the 1987th album „Electric“ from the Cult. Coincidence? I guess not! -
I have a grey, slightly marbled version of this. No identifiers. Except the run out Mother - A1 -B1. A few pops, and some light crackling in places. None of which you can hear on the actual tracks, so overall quite good. Cost me £10. Still, I think I should invest in a mint/near mint 1st pressing.
