The 989 copy is pressed in mono, just like acetate, and is different from the 999 copy. The 999 copy is pressed in stereo. The 999 has a tape imperfection in the intro, yes and. towards the end extra Patrick Cowley additional syntheziers. Not heard on the 989 copy.

Released by Cowley himself. Handtypes sticker which says ["I Feel Love" (synthesized) 33 1/3 RPM 16.04]. In reality the time is not 16.04 but 16.15 minutes. I taped this from the original using a Technics 1210mk2 turntable. 50 vinl versions were made. How many there are left now is unknown. This original version is slightly longer and slightly different (rougher) to the Disconet / Casablanca versions (which takes 15.45 minutes on 45 RPM). The vinyl versions were handed out bij Cowley (for promotion of his remix) to several DJ's/radiostations (as well as the acetates). This vinyl version matches exactly the acetate version released on the Sunshine Sound Label. There are two independent sources (óne DJ from San Francisco knew Cowley personally) who confirm this story.
n the A-side is etched in the run-out grooves: "6814 and DJ-989A". On the B-side is etched "backing plate - long for side - 300 LPI/30 Min". The B-side has running grooves for about 30 minutes but no sound.
There exists also an exactly the same record but with a slightly different etching on the A-side: "7145 and DJ-999A".
