Edited 6 months agoMy copy has two timing strips. One is on the front cover, under the blue shrink, and there is also one on the back cover on the outside of the shrink. -
I don't know about any of the other pressings but this sounds so good on my less than high end system that I have a hard time believing it is inferior to any other.

I don't understand why the Terre Haute press (released when the album released, it's an original copy) is worth so much less than a bunch of other near-identical pressings when they are ALL from Capitol, just made in different parts of the country. My copy is near mint, clearly the previous, original, owner barely played it and took really good care of it. It's kind of annoying that mine is worth almost nothing and a copy with a bunch of scratches and hairlines is worth almost 600 dollars.

Edited 6 months agoI have a copy that is not promo, but has the same exact matrix, but the matrix listed here on side a is the one on side b of my copy and vice versa. I don’t see it elsewhere. -
Edited 6 months agoI've got a copy that looks like this release, the spine text is the same, inner sleeve is the same. The only difference is that it has got the Demonstration stamp on the rear cover, not on the front cover. Runout matrix side A: P AL33453-4A(under the columbia logo also B5 pressed thin) side B: BL33453-1B 1T(hand etched)Can anyone confirm it is this release or does anybody know what release it is?

This is the copy to own if you live in the US. The low end is amazing and I think it sounds better than the 2016 which wasn't one of the best in the repress series.
