Revisiting this album on 12 April 2024. I have the original 2011 run. I do not experience the reported shallowness or lack of bass others have reported. I think this might be setup dependent. I have a budget home theater setup with a sub and it sounds great. Some crackles and pops.

Does this pressing have the deluxe songs? Wondering and want to know i have the most recent pressing from target which does not
Also how does the 2011 one sound -

Hmm... pretty sure this is still available from some sources like Urban Outfitters for less than $30 and it probably is just a matter of time before it's restocked elsewhere.
-
Sounds super shallow, not enough bass. Some noise. This happens with new rap/hip hop. I wish they cared more about putting albums on wax.

I just purchased this through Urban Outfitters. It came in great shape and plays great. One thing I noticed is the inside gives credits for ‘The Motto’ and ‘Hate Sleeping Alone’ but neither song is on this version of the album. The back also does not list either song. They are only on the inside cover.

I purchased from Target. The record sounds pretty decent. My only complaint, is even though I purchased the record sealed, and it came sealed, the lp’s were very scuffed and had a lot of residue on them. I was able to remove a certain amount of it, but some was still left over. Disappointed, but at least it isn’t audibly affecting the sound. As an album, I really like this record. It is very consistent, and has the same vibe throughout. He mixes R&B and rap super well on this record.

My copy sounds very similar to most things pressed by Death Row or other similar hip hop studios. In my opinion a few tracks do sound substantially better on wax, majority of side 2 and side 3 sound notably better in my opinion . The thing is the majority of people will not notice an improvement in sound quality from MP3 to Wax like with Four Tet, NIN, Gang Starr or Nils Frahm. If you are a fan of rap or Drake in general I would say that this album is worthwhile, this is my favorite record by Drake, and to me, aside from one or two pops, it sounds very good to me on wax.
