Edited 3 months agoExcellent customer from Republic Records when they sent a damaged and defective copy. First one had seam splits and a deep gouge on side A rendering NOMtW unlistenable. They sent a new copy that’s flawless. It plays beautifully with no surface noise or pops. The mastering on some tracks could be better, and the high notes get blown out at times. Still happy to have this edition as the marbling is gorgeous. -
This record sounds really good but not perfect. There is some minor surface noise on a few of the songs. I also found that the vocals on 'The Wizard and I' were sounding a bit off, sort of muffled where at the same time the orchestra was punchy, full and dynamic. Other songs like 'What Is This Feeling?', 'Popular', 'Dancing Through Life' and especially 'Defying Gravity' the record really opens up and sounds incredible.
My discs look exactly like the mock-up on the website. So much green and black marbling and both discs look almost identical. I've never had a record that came out almost identical to the mock-up so that was pretty sweet. -

Anyone know how good this one plays? Hoping it plays well out of all the versions because it looks amazing.
