Perfect track. Good quality and looks amazing. Only downside is the inner sleeve.I expected not a standard sleeve but a custom designed artwork sleeve with songs on it like the nirvana - nirvana album. But anyways just an amazing LP

Edited 3 months agoSurprised by the comment about bass. This sounds terrific to my ears. Clean, balanced sound with great stereo separation. The bass sounds exactly how I’d expect it—prominent in the places where you’d hope.
I wish it came with a lyric sheet so I could sing along more easily. -
Sounds good but pretty disappointed with the band - the website made it seem that this was a 30th anniversary re-press. Misleading in my view.

As one other person alluded to, it's a 2016 reissue (says on label) but with a different pattern/colour scheme.
I think it sounds good though, punchy though my speakers and no surface nosie.
Picked it up from my friends record store for £24. No complaints. -
Edited 6 months agoThere is nothing 30th anniversary about this release, except maybe the colourway (which is very pretty). I do not believe it is a 2024 remaster either.

I think it sounds great though. I have been waiting to see what they'd do for the anniversary, and wasn't interested in the boxset. To me, this is a perfectly acceptable copy of this album on vinyl. It fills the room, the separation is great, and I think the bass slaps just the perfect amount, especially in Holiday.
It's great for the $70 Australian it cost me, which is about normal reissue new album price here, currently. If you are looking to buy a copy, and this is still at retail, grab it!
Put through a full wash cycle then a full autocycle (wash and dry) on my HuminGuru before being played on a Pro-ject DC Evo with Ortofon 2M Blue, through the MM phono stage of the Cambridge Audio Evo 150, to my ears though a pair of Klipsch Heresy IV.
Please Note: My star rating system is based on my own beliefs and a big part of it is based on the amount of times I will actually play it, or how much that album means to me personally. -

I ordered the 30th Anniversary via Townsend Music online. Nothing about this version says "30th Anniversary", the hype sticker says "DMM" (and NOT newly remastered) and indeed seems to be a simple repress of the 2016 remaster on a different colorway. It sounds terrible, too. Buyer beware!

Edited 6 months agojust got my copy and there's barely any bass? i had to turn up the bass on my speakers which i usually never have to do just to get it equal to the streaming version. bass seems to be more balanced on the b-side but still not great.

Edited 6 months agoNewly remastered? DMM Abbey Road remastered, again? The 2016 was also DMM Abbey Road... surely it's just the same mastering???
